Nikki Roy - Founder Story
Nurture4 began with a simple but powerful realisation:
We support women during pregnancy and we prepare women for birth, but not for what comes after - motherhood and recovery.
Nurture4 wasn’t born from a business idea. It came from years of noticing how quickly women can become undersupported, underestimated and unseen once they become mothers. My years in corporate sales showed me one side of that story; my work in health and wellbeing showed me another. Together, they became the reason I wanted Nurture4 to exist.

Before moving into health and wellbeing, I spent over a decade in corporate sales. During that time, I saw a pattern that never quite sat right with me.
Highly capable, intelligent, experienced women, once they became mums, were often treated differently. Subtly sidelined. Overlooked for opportunities. Or met with unspoken assumptions that they would always be the primary carer - the first call if something went wrong at home or school, expected to drop everything.
Their identities, formed over years of education, careers, lived experiences, relationships and individuality, were often quietly diminished, reduced to being seen as “just a mum”.
When I retrained as a massage therapist and moved into health and wellbeing, I began to see a different side of the same story.
Working closely with new parents, I noticed how dramatically bodies changed after birth - particularly backs, shoulders and posture, and often not for the better. But beyond the physical challenges, something deeper became clear….Mums would open up about the reality of early motherhood and it wasn’t pretty.
- The lack of support once the baby arrived.
- The isolation and the loneliness.
- The pressure to “just get on with things”.
- The quiet acceptance that “this is just how it is now.”
And it wasn’t a one-off. It was friends, family, colleagues and clients. The same experiences, over and over again.
That’s when it truly hit me…..
This isn’t an individual problem. This is a systemic gap in how we support women after birth and I knew this needed to change. I wanted to be alongside others helping to lead that change.
Nurture4 was created to offer something different. A place where mums are the priority and not an afterthought.
We bring together trusted practitioners, practical resources and support, alongside a like-minded community, all designed around one thing:
guided support for Mum’s during their postpartum recovery - mind, body and community
Because recovery doesn’t happen in six weeks or even 6 months and it shouldn’t be something any Mum has to figure out alone.
Nurture4 exists to make sure every mum feels supported, understood and properly looked after - not just in the early days, but throughout the first year and beyond.
Nurture4 is about putting mums at the centre, because when they are supported, everything around them thrives: families, businesses and society.
Let’s change postpartum support - together. We’re with you every step of the way!
If this feels aligned, the next step is simple.
